meet Anne Linton:
Physician turned Endurance Athlete, coach and personal trainer
Welcome to my personalized approach to coaching, fitness and nutrition.
I have an undergraduate degree in Engineering from the University of Tennessee and am a graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. I worked in General Surgery/Orthopedics and Emergency Medicine for four years before completing my residency in Psychiatry from the Cleveland Clinic with a specialty in Addiction Medicine. Overweight and stressed out, it took a major medical crisis with my husband for me to realize life is short and I reassessed my priorities. I took a sabbatical from medicine to do an Ironman and never went back. I love the fact I can use my medical background as well as my experience with behavioral psychology to help my clients.
In addition to my medical degree, I am an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer, a USA Cycling Level 2 Coach and am Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certified.
I work with all sorts of clients and athletes from those striving for improved fitness and health to those wanting to be on the podium. I provide coaching for Endurance Sports-Cycling (all disciplines), Triathlon, Multisport events, Running as well as Nutrition Coaching with Habit-Based Nutrition and Personal Training.
